How to register with Itch.io and download Painted Waters

   
  1. Go to https://itch.io/ and click “Register” in the top right of the page.
   
  1. After registering and logging in, you should see a “Download App” button right at the top of the itch.io home page. Click on “Download App”
   
  1. Click on “Start Download”.
   
  1. To install on a Windows PC, Laptop or Tablet, double-click to run “itch-setup.exe”. This should be in your downloads folder. Pick an installation location and click “Install Now”.
   
  1. The itch.io app will start automatically. Once you see the login screen, enter your username and password into the appropriate fields and click “Log in”.
   
  1. Once logged into the itch.io app, you can install Painted Waters by searching for it, or enter the following link into the address bar in the itch.io app: https://numinousgames.itch.io/painted-waters
  1. Once you’re on the game page, click the “Install” button to download and install the game.
   
  1. Click “Install” on the dialog that comes up.
   
  1. Once installed, click the “Launch” button to play the game.
   
  1. The game will update itself every time we release a new version so all you have to do is launch the itch.io app, select “Library” on the left, then select “Painter Waters”, and press “Launch”!
